Piedmont Park | Woodruff Park | Krog St. Tunnel | Downtown Atlanta Senior Pictures

I have known Nya for several years and have captured her family on different occasions.  Originally Nya’s senior session was suppose to take place back in October at a completely different location.  I am thrilled that we had to delay her session until the spring as well as change locations.  I feel Piedmont, Woodruff Park and Krog St tunnel help to highlight Nya’s personality better. 

Downtown Atlanta offers so many different backdrops. You have to do your research to choose what locations you truly want. However with locations being relatively close to one another it is easy to have different diverse backdrops.

Piedmont offers a beautiful city scape backdrop from many different locations throughout the park.  With spring in full bloom you also have beautiful trees and shrubs in full bloom.  The best time to shoot at Piedmont is in the evenings when the sun sets behind the sky scrapers.  However Nya’s session was in the morning so we started in Piedmont at sunrise to be able to capture the city scape without harsh sunlight.

Next location was Woodruff Park.  Because it was early on a Saturday morning there was no traffic and the city was still asleep, which allowed us to shoot in the middle of the street.  

Last up was Krog St. tunnel.  Krog St. tunnel has been on my Atlanta bucket list for awhile.  It was so cool to experience as well as all of the gorgeous murals that are along the walkway.  I am definitely putting this spot on the top for my senior locations options.
